Chocolate chip cookie milk shots from the cronut inventor at SXSW

Cronut inventor Dominique Ansel is enticing sweet tooths once again with a new invention. The New York pastry chef has created something called the chocolate chip cookie milk shot.

It’s a wonder no one thought of this before. A shot glass made of a chocolate chip cookie, filled with milk. L.A. bakers, you listening?

Ansel posted a picture of the cookie shots on Instagram on Wednesday, announcing he will serve the shots at SXSW, the annual music, film and interactive conference in Austin, Texas, Sunday. The picture already has more than 2,000 likes.

Grubstreet is reporting the cookie dough is extra-aerated and baked in a cylindrical mold. It’s served room temperature with ice-cold milk.

Ansel also plans to serve his famous cronuts at the Allison+Partners Cronut at Midnight event, along with the cookie shots.

Now, if only someone could do this with Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies and Baileys.
