800 Degrees pizzeria to open in Hollywood
Hot on the heels of its latest opening, 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria announces another new location -- this one planned for Hollywood next year. Last month, 800 Degrees opened its doors in Santa Monica and expects to roll out eight additional restaurants this year.
The original assembly-line Neapolitan-style 800 Degrees debuted in Westwood nearly two years ago, with hand-tossed, burrata-topped pies that cost as little as $5.85. Now its expansion plans are snowballing, with a 4,000-square-foot Las Vegas flagship in the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino set for April, followed by Pasadena, downtown and another in Las Vegas at the SLS Hotel & Casino.
The Hollywood 800 Degrees will be at Sunset and Vine at the former famed Schwab’s Pharmacy. “Hollywood has been the heartbeat of Los Angeles for a long time,” Anthony Carron, 800 Degrees’ creator, said in a statement. “We’ll be serving pizzas to offices, residential communities and nightlife crowds, all near one of the most iconic intersections in Hollywood history.”
The 800 Degrees in Hollywood will be about 3,500 square feet with about 100 seats and a 1,200-square-foot patio. The opening is planned for early 2015. Meanwhile, 800 Degrees also said has secured financing to open up to five New York City locations.
