Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg friends a suit and tie, but only briefly
You no longer need to resort to Adobe Photoshop to figure out what habitual hoodie wearer Mark Zuckerberg might look in a suit and tie -- since the wardrobe-etiquette-flouting Facebook CEO actually ditched the hoodie for a meeting with South Korean President Park Geun-hye on Tuesday.
Sure, Zuckerberg certainly seemed to be back to his old zip-front-hoodie-and-jeans-wearing, ultra-casual self for a visit to Samsung’s offices later the same day, but for at least a brief, shining moment on the international stage, the boy king of Silicon Valley managed to passably play dress up.
We could, of course, quibble about what appears to be the choice of an ill-fitting all-black suit (we’re just assuming it’s a full suit since we couldn’t find any full-length photos -- for all we know he could be wearing plum-colored clamdiggers down below), or the fact that both of the jacket buttons are buttoned (traditionally one only buttons the top button of a two-button jacket -- unless you’re hiding a hoodie underneath, we suppose) or point out that either his shirt sleeves seem a tad too short (showing about a half-inch of cuff is the norm).
We’ll just offer a round of golf claps that Zuckerberg made the effort at all and hope that the next step up his evolutionary ladder of style includes friending a talented tailor.
