Quick, it’s just three weeks or so off, but there are still some tickets left for the 34th Taste of Sonoma on Saturday, Aug. 31.

Held at the late actor Fred MacMurray’s estate, now owned by the Gallo family, the event opens the grounds to the public once a year. A $165 ticket buys you the opportunity to taste more than 200 Sonoma County wines and nosh your way through food from some of Sonoma’s top chefs.

Still hungry? Stay for dinner at either Benziger Family Winery or Twomey Cellars for $150 more.

On the following Sunday afternoon, three properties -- Eric Ross Winery, Little Vineyards Family Winery and Taft Street Winery -- are hosting barbecues at their respective estates for $85.

Only a few tickets, at $500, are left for the big event of the weekend: the Sonoma Harvest Wine Auction on Sunday afternoon.

If you want to turn it into a three-day event, arrive on Friday for either lunch at one of 20 wineries ($85) or dinner at one of 10 hosting wineries ($150).

And if you don’t care to fuss with individual events, go for broke with a weekend package with priority practically everything for $2,400.
