During Monday morning’s #Weekendeats chat on Twitter, participants celebrated breakfast, but not the traditional stuff. There were a couple pancakes in the mix but people really went outside the box this weekend with their creations. Here are the highlights:

With the return of “Arrested Development,” Brian Staffield of the blog Cooking With B.S. decided to celebrate by making Skip’s scramble. Fans of the show will recognize the Skip’s Bistro dish from the episode “Out on a Limb.” It consists of a ton of breakfast items packed into one scramble.

The Skip’s scramble has blueberry waffles, banana pancakes, cornball cakes, sausage, Balboa Bay bacon, Model Home fries, fried eggs, ham, scrambled eggs, vodka on the rocks with toast, muffins and hash browns. The best part? It’s all served in a wok!

Mike OC Grubber introduced participants to the hot dog for breakfast. He shared a picture of his Good Morning breakfast dog made with a bacon-wrapped Crif dog over American cheese and a fried egg from a place called Please Don’t Tell, a cocktail bar in New York.

Carol Sacks from the blog In Medias Recipe suggested a savory breakfast with slow-roasted tomatoes and burrata on toasted bread, while Victor Alsobrook offered up some lemon ricotta pancakes with blueberry sauce with a recipe on his blog 2Sense Los Angeles.
