‘The Secret’ author Rhonda Byrne to publish new book this fall
Get your vision boards out and prep your DVR for the inevitable Oprah special, as pop-spiritual writer Rhonda Byrne — best known for the monster hit “The Secret” — is publishing a new book, “Hero,” due out Nov. 19th.
“Hero” will be released through Simon & Schuster’s Atria Books. In a press release, Judith Curr, the company’s president and publisher, promises that “this book will inspire and show us all how to search for, find, and live our dreams.”
“Hero” will follow 12 of the world’s most successful people, sharing their wisdom and insight. The book proposes to show readers how they can be heroes, and that the secret to being a hero may just lie within them, waiting to be released.
“The Secret” (the book and the film) was a global phenomenon. There are more than 25 million copies of the book in print. Available in more than 50 languages, it is one of the bestselling books of the past 15 years. The Australian guru’s “Secret” follow-ups, “The Power” and “The Magic,” have also sold millions of copies.
Expect “Hero” to be one of the more ubiquitous books in the bookstores by the holidays.
