Avion Clothier opens in Atwater Village, snow comes to Orange County and more shopping news
Avion Clothier, which specializes in men’s and women’s luxury shirting designed by Katherine Tsina Bird, has opened in Atwater Village.
The store offers the Avion Clothier line, along with Avion Feminin, Christina Lehr, Makie Clothier (for children), Eshelman Pottery and Portuguese rugs and blankets.
The spare, light-filled space is at 3153 Glendale Blvd., Los Angeles. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Made-to-measure is offered by appointment.

The Market Place in Orange County is partnering with Active Ride Shop for a snow day on Saturday. From noon to 5 p.m., kids can learn how to snowboard on the snow and make popsicle snowmen.
