Kate Hudson to host Fabletics fundraiser

Actress and Fabletics co-founder Kate Hudson is scheduled to host a shopping fundraiser to benefit Bright Pink on Thursday at the Fabletics boutique at The Village at Westfield Topanga.

Guests can sip champagne and listen to music from DJ Alex Merrell while they shop. Merchandise will be 10% off, and 30% of the evening’s proceeds are earmarked for Bright Pink, a nonprofit organization focused on prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women.

The event is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with check-in starting at 5 p.m., at Fabletics, 6316 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. RSVP to [email protected]. An RSVP does not guarantee admission if the crowd is over capacity. Guests will be admitted on a first- come, first-served basis.

The founders of cult green beauty brands Odacite, Rahua and W3ll People plan to gather at the Detox Market on Saturday to show clients how to detox their beauty routines when it comes to skincare, hair and makeup. The event is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. at 8380 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles. There is a $10 admission fee, but it can be used toward product purchases. Openings

Burlington plans to open a new store in downtown Los Angeles with a ribbon-cutting at 9:30 a.m. Friday. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, the first 500 customers are to receive free totes. Gift card giveaways, face-painting, popcorn and more are also planned. The new store is at 309 W. 7th St. Store hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Parisian-born shoe brand Roberto Durville has opened a new store at Del Amo Fashion Center, 21540 Hawthorne Blvd., Torrance.

Pop-ups

Seedling has brought an assortment of its children’s toys and crafts to a pop cart at the Grove. The cart, which opened Tuesday, is scheduled to remain at the shopping center at 189 The Grove Drive, Los Angeles through the holiday season.

Jewelry line Ariel Gordon, footwear label Office of Angela Scott and clothing line Vivian Chan will be featured in a pop-up from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Alchemy Works, 826 E. 3rd St., Los Angeles.

Trunk shows

Hayley Paige Bridal will show its spring 2016 collection this weekend at JLM Couture, 352 N. Robertson Blvd., West Hollywood. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
