PARIS -- Damir Doma, the Croatian-born designer who has name-checked Giorgio Armani as a hero, presented his most refined, wearable collection yet on Wednesday at Paris Fashion Week, infusing his fall-winter offerings with a polished take on grunge.
The inspiration: Classicism frayed with roughness, according to show notes.

Key pieces: Abstract, mottled-looking tapestry coat in burgundy/black melange. Officer coat in ombre mohair. Blurred blanket plaid wrap skirt. Black apron dresses framed with velvet taping.
