Frontline The new episode “To Catch a Trader” documents an ongoing seven-year investigation into insider trading and offers a profile of Steven A. Cohen and his company SAC Capital Advisors. 10 p.m. KOCE
Justified Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) tangles with a deadly branch of the Crowe family while Boyd (Walton Goggins) goes into the heart of the Detroit mob in the season premiere. 10 p.m. FX
Cougar Town Jules (Courteney Cox) tries to be cool with the fact that Travis and Laurie (Dan Byrd, Busy Philipps) are dating, although the rest of the gang admits to feeling weird about it. Ian Gomez, Brian Van Holt and Josh Hopkins also star in the season premiere. 10 p.m. TBS

American Experience The special episode “The Poisoner’s Handbook” looks back to the early 1900s, when it was easy to get away with murder in New York.
