Netflix unveils first ‘Arrested Development’ trailer
With just two weeks left until fans get to dive into the new season of “Arrested Development,” Netflix is finally giving them a good old-fashioned trailer.
There have been the tweets, the behind-the-scenes photos and the exclusive clips, but finally fans can get a sense of just what the new season of “Arrested Development” looks like. And thankfully it appears that seven years off the air hasn’t let the show miss a step.
Yes, the ongoing romantic tension between George Michael (Michael Cera) and his cousin Maeby (Alia Shawkat) is still there. And the car with stairs on top. And poor Buster’s (Tony Hale) hook hand.
To commemorate the release of the trailer, which has fans drooling all over the place, Netflix has opened a second Bluth’s Original Frozen Banana stand in New York City, this one on Columbus Circle. This coincides with advertisers congregating in New York this week for the networks’ unveiling of their new shows. “Arrested Development” was famously canceled by Fox in 2006 but has been revived for online audiences.
The fourth season of “Arrested Development” will premiere all 15 episodes on Netflix on May 26.
