Michelle Obama to appear on ‘Parks and Recreation’ season finale
First Lady Michelle Obama is making a trip to Pawnee, Ind.
FLOTUS is set to make an appearance in the one-hour season finale of “Parks and Recreation,” which airs April 24 at 8 p.m. EST/PST.
The episode, “Moving Up,” was shot recently in Miami, where Obama was making the rounds in connection to her “Let’s Move” initiative aimed at combating childhood obesity. So we’re guessing a hearty Ron Swanson welcome of fatty breakfast food is out of the question?

The first lady joins a growing list of real-world politicians crossing paths with dedicated public servant Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler). Others have included Vice President Joe Biden, Arizona Sen. John McCain, California Sen. Barbara Boxer and former Maine Sen. Olympia Snowe.
It wouldn’t be the first time Obama has paid a visit to a fictional TV world. She’s appeared on “Sesame Street” and Nickelodeon’s since-gone hit “iCarly.” And she seems to have a funny bone, goofing off plenty of times with Jimmy Fallon during his run on “Late Night” and, now, “The Tonight Show.”
