As ‘Key & Peele’ bids farewell, a look at the show’s top 5 moments

It's sad but true: Today's the day viewers say goodbye to Comedy Central's "Key & Peele."

The show, which stars creators Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, has become so popular it's nominated for seven Emmy Awards this year, including Outstanding Variety Sketch Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Key.

Here's a look at some of the top moments from the show, which ends its five-season run Wednesday night. Warning, the language in some of the videos may be offensive.

'Substitute Teacher'

This is a classic Key & Peele sketch from 2012 that follows inner-city substitute teacher Mr. Garvey, known for his hilarious mispronunciation of students' names. The viral hit has amassed a whopping 82.8 million views on YouTube. Paramount Pictures is expected to turn it into a movie. See you in Hollywood, teach.

'East/West College Bowl'

This football player parody, also from 2012, makes up fake names (like "J'Dinkalage Morgoone") while throwing in some familiar ones too.

'Pizza Order'

As the YouTube description reads, "A pizza delivery order snowballs into a drama of destiny, romance and lots of cheesy crust."

Need we say more?

'Auction Block'

With 17 million views, this sketch about slaves (who wonder why no one wants to buy them) is Key & Peele's second most popular (after the Mr. Garvey videos) on the Web. The duo has managed to find the laughs in even dark subjects such as slavery. "We take very seriously any atrocity that we're dealing with," Peele told The Times in a recent interview.

'Obama's Anger Translator — Meet Luther'

President Obama’s “anger translator" Luther, known for showing anger the president keeps to himself, is one of Key's most popular characters. Key even performed his translator portrayal along with the president himself earlier this year.
