Didya hear? Key and Peele join FX’s ‘Fargo’
News that will make you go, Oh, yah?: Comedians Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, better known as Key and Peele, have joined the cast of FX’s “Fargo.”
The duo, who have made a name for themselves with their popular Comedy Central sketch show “Key & Peele,” will portray FBI agents in a four-episode arc of the upcoming limited series based on the Academy Award-winning movie from the Coen brothers.
And, oh geez, do they have some good names: Webb Pepper (Peele) and Bill Budge (Key).
“Fargo” the TV series features an all-new “true crime” story with a new cast of characters, led by Billy Bob Thornton, who plays drifter Lorne Malvo, and Martin Freeman, who plays hapless insurance agent Lester Nygaard whose life is forever changed by a chance encounter with Malvo.

The FBI agents played by Key and Peele get into the fold after a violent run-in with Malvo prompts an obsession in locating him. Their search brings them to Bemidji, Minn., and into the fray in the final four installments of the 10-episode series.
“Fargo” is set to open April 15 on FX.
