On the CW’s January schedule: ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ and a vampire shuffle
The CW has revealed its January schedule, including a return date for Season 3 of “The 100,” as well as the debut of the latest DC Comics television adaptation, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.”
The network also announced it would be moving its vampire-friendly fare to Friday nights, airing “The Vampire Diaries” at 8 p.m. Pacific time, followed by “The Originals” at 9 p.m.
“Reign,” which is scheduled to have its winter finale on Friday, Jan. 22, will return later in the season, at a yet to be determined time.
The CW’s January of premieres and moves are as follows:
Thursday, Jan. 21
8-9 p.m. — “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” (series premiere)
9-10 p.m. — “The 100” (season premiere)
Friday, Jan. 29
8-9 p.m. — “The Vampire Diaries” (new night)
9-10 p.m. — “The Originals” (new night)
