Angus T. Jones to be cut from opening of ‘Two and a Half Men’
CBS has a message for former “Two and a Half Men” kid Angus T. Jones: What’s your name again?
The producers are snipping the 19-year-old actor from a new opening credit sequence for this fall’s 11th season, according to a source close to the production. Costars Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher will still be featured in the yet-to-be-shot sequence, possibly with an unnamed new costar.
Earlier reports this year indicated that Jones, who’s headed off to college, wouldn’t be returning as a series regular but would instead make occasional appearances. The news that Jones would get cut from the opening was first reported Friday on TVLine.com.

But Jones’ absence on the show probably isn’t just because he needs to hit the books. Last year, Jones trashed the hit sitcom as “filth,” adding: “I don’t want to be on it.”
If he’s indeed sliced out of the credits, Jones will be the second of the three original “Men” to exit unceremoniously. Charlie Sheen was fired a couple of seasons back after publicly tangling with producers; Kutcher replaced him. Cryer is the sole remaining star who was there when the series premiered in 2003.
An email to a Jones representative wasn’t immediately returned.
What do you think of Jones getting the boot?
