Video of Michael Keaton pocketing what could be Oscar speech goes viral
Michael Keaton’s apparent Oscar speech has gone viral, just not in the way the “Birdman” actor had probably hoped.
A Twitter Vine with nearly 10 million views shows Keaton quickly stuffing a piece of paper back into his pocket Sunday night once he realized he had lost the lead actor award to Eddie Redmayne for "The Theory of Everything" during the 87th Academy Awards.
Keaton was hailed by film critics for his comeback role playing an aging superhero actor. He won the Golden Globe for actor in a motion picture, comedy or musical for the role.
Keaton's publicist could not be reached for comment.
