Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively marry; remembering Scarlett

Ryan Reynolds reportedly has wed a second stunning blond actress.

Reynolds and Blake Lively are said to have married Sunday at South Carolina’s Boone Hall plantation.

It’s difficult not to draw a few comparisons between Reynolds’ second bride and his first, Scarlett Johansson -- the flowing blond hair, the porcelain skin and toothy white smiles. (Although, yes, that describes a number of Hollywood actresses.)

Reynolds, 35, and Lively, 25, are said to have drawn each other’s interest with the making of the 2011 film “Green Lantern.” Filming was from March to August 2010. Reynolds and Johansson announced their separation in December 2010.

“Green Lantern” was released June 17, 2011. Reynolds and Lively looked pretty in pictures at the premiere. Johansson and Reynolds’ divorce became final July 1, 2011.

Reynolds and his new bride have leapt into the real estate market, reportedly buying a $2.3-million house together in Bedford, N.Y.

Reynolds and Johansson bought a $2.8-million house together in 2010. As the Los Angeles Times reported, they sold the house in May for $3.5 million.

Reynolds and Johansson’s marriage lasted three years. Reynolds and Lively have only just begun.
