Evan Rachel Wood marries Jamie Bell

Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell are married!

The “Thirteen” and “True Blood” actress, 25, and “Billy Elliott” star, 26, tied the knot in a small ceremony Tuesday, a Wood rep confirmed to People.

The two got engaged early this year, according to Us Weekly, which said the bride wore a custom Chantilly lace mermaid gown by Carolina Herrera.

The bride and groom met in 2005 when they shot a Green Day video together and dated for a year. Wood was later engaged to goth rocker Marilyn Manson, whom she dated on and off for four years. That relationship snapped for good in August 2010, with Bell and Wood reconnecting in summer 2011.

“Words cannot describe the happiness i am feeling,” Wood tweeted Wednesday. “Overwhelming.”

By Thursday she was reflective, retweeting this bit of wisdom:

“They say the wedding ring goes on the left ring finger, because it’s the only finger with a vein that connects to the heart.”
