Kardashian-Humphries legal proceeding likely to go into next year
Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian are unlikely to ring in the new year as single people, a judge said Wednesday, though the June 2013 wedding season could see them finally divorced.
That’s right: With her side saying enough already and his alleging fraud, legal proceedings on a 2011 coupling that lasted only 72 days from “I do” in August to “I want out” in October are threatening to drag out through May of next year.
At a hearing Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Kardashian attorney Laura Wasser said the Humphries camp’s requests for information about Kim’s reality shows and mom Kris Jenner’s finances were overly broad.

“To say that I’m frustrated would be an understatement,” Wasser said in court. “I am at a loss to figure out what the holdup is.... It’s dragging on, it’s clogging resources.”
Those resources so far include about 250,000 of Kardashian’s dollars spent on legal fees, which Wasser said she hoped to get paid by the other side.
Humphries’ lawyer, Marshall Waller, blamed Team Kardashian for the delays, saying attorneys and production companies involved were being uncooperative in his effort to prove the bride had “no intention of proceeding with this marriage. That it was basically a contrivance for the benefit of her show and to make money.”
Said Waller, according to CNN: “I’m trying to find information out and somebody is trying to stop me.”
Waller said he plans to depose 33 people, some of whom he’s spoken to already.
Kardashian filed for divorce Oct. 31 after a lavish, very publicized wedding that was turned into a TV special. Humphries responded by filing for an annulment on the basis of fraud. Both have been seeing other people.
The attorneys are due back in court Nov. 28.
