Music: Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore to play solo work at Troubadour
The erstwhile Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore’s latest solo venture (and there have been many) is a departure from his typical avant-garde shredding. “Demolished Thoughts” is a tender, considered album of acoustic guitar work produced by Beck that’s surprising and unexpectedly moving.
