Some David Letterman send-off reactions get as prickly as iconic host
David Letterman bid farewell to "The Late Show" on Wednesday night and while most viewers were sad to see him go, others were grateful that the "long national nightmare" was indeed over.
Ahead of the final episode, during and after, #ThanksDave tributes poured in on social media with everyone from A-listers to fair weather fans paying homage to Letterman and his 33-year-long career. However, the Internet -- being that great big heap of negativity it can be -- brought out the haters, who weren't won over by a star-studded Top 10 list or heartfelt thank yous to his family and staff.
