Will Smith, son Jaden photobombed by sideline reporter
Will Smith and his son Jaden have been immortalized in an epic photo-bomb.
As the father and son, stars of the upcoming thriller “After Earth,” sat courtside for Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs on Wednesday in Miami, a sportscaster in a bold blazer sneaked into their photo-op and waved to cameras just as they were being plugged for TV viewers.
The goofy photo-bomber was none other than TNT’s sideline reporter Craig Sager, clad in a bright pink, yellow, green and blue plaid jacket for the game between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls at the American Airlines Arena.
“Noting the camera was on him, and encouraged by [sportscasters] Marv [Albert] and Steve Kerr, Sager broke into a full-on photobomb,” according to NBA.com, which said the incident occurred during the third quarter.
We can’t decide what’s better: the Smiths’ obliviousness or Sager’s wardrobe choice. However, those familiar with Sager’s reporting weren’t as taken by the innocuous gesture.
Sager, ever the snazzy fashionisto, has a Tumblr devoted to his sartorial selections called “Craig Sager’s Suits.” He also goes by the nickname “Mr. Fancy Suit.”
Well, in Smith’s case, it might be better than dodging a perceived kiss from a prankster with a slap on the red carpet.
