Tyler Perry reveals: I broke Oprah!

Tyler Perry was feeling bad Wednesday — as a person should after hurting a close friend. In this case, the friend was Oprah Winfrey, and the harm was far from intentional.

“I FEEL SO BAD,” the actor-director-writer-producer-whatever wrote on his Facebook page.

“I like to send really large flower arrangements to people for whatever occasion,” he explained. “Well, I sent one to Oprah yesterday for her birthday. She strained her back picking it up. No joke!”

Tyler Perry broke Oprah! Tyler Perry broke Oprah! Bad, bad Tyler! Though if you’re going to hurt a friend, a bajillion flowers is probably one of the nicest ways to do it.

“Feel better Oprah,” he continued sheepishly. “Happy birthday. Sorry.”

The “Madea’s Witness Protection” star has plans to avoid such unintended consequences in the future, however.

“Next year,” he said, “I’m sending her one rose.”

Aww. Still nice.
