Tracy Morgan upgrades to a Lambo from a Dumbo (P.S.: He’s driving again)

Tracy Morgan has been getting out behind the wheel of an elephant and a Lamborghini -- not bad for a guy who in the past year has had to relearn how to walk, talk, sit and stand.

The actor and comic, who was seriously injured in a six-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in June 2014, was photographed in New York City over the weekend behind the wheel of the silver sports car with another guy riding shotgun.

“How great is this?! Spotted Tracy Morgan driving a Lamborghini this weekend in #NYC,” tweeted Steve Lacy, an anchor for the local Fox affiliate.

The Dumbo the Flying Elephant spotting came on July 2, when Morgan, his fiancee, Megan Wollover, and their daughter Maven were on that ride while celebrating the 2-year-old’s birthday at the Magic Kingdom in Florida’s Walt Disney World Resort.

The “30 Rock” alum was making good on something he’d tweeted a month before: “It’s been a year,” he wrote in what was his first tweet since before the accident. “Just wanted to say thank you for all of your love and support. Will see you soon.”

Morgan told People last month that he was “at 75 percent” and “happy to be alive” after the wreck that took the life of comic James McNair and injured two other friends. He’s still getting speech and physical therapy and working with a psychologist after suffering traumatic brain injury in addition to broken bones.

“I have my good days and I have my bad days ...,” said the actor, who admitted to the mag that sometimes he “might feel a little off” and might forget things. “I just want to get better and become healthy.” Doctors have told him he’s continuing to get better.

Any day behind the wheel of a Lambo is likely to be a good one. In Morgan’s case, it was a good day for his fans as well.
