Robert Pattinson broods brilliantly in Dior Homme ad
Robert Pattinson’s Dior Homme ad has finally been released in its entirety.
And Kristen Stewart, eat your heart out.
The one-minute, eight-second video titled “The Film” was posted on fashion house Christian Dior’s YouTube channel Sunday, and the “Twilight” alum sizzles a la Edward Cullen-meets-”Water for Elephants” heartthrob in the black-and-white short.
This man could teach a class in Broody 101.

The actor was named the face of the men’s fragrance in June, joining the ranks of Dior’s celebrity spokespeople: Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Eva Herzigova, Alain Delon, model Jamie Dornan and Jude Law have all promoted the brand’s fragrances. Pattinson is no stranger to striking a pose either, since, at age 12, that’s how he started his career before landing roles in the “Harry Potter” and “Twilight” franchises.
The campaign was shot by American photographer Nan Goldin and French director Romain Gavras and they’re meant only for European and Asian markets that exclude Great Britain, China and Japan, according to Dior (via WWD). But they’re totally visible in those places and here, thanks to a little thing called the Internet.
In the video, the 27-year-old lazes about fully clothed in a bathtub, runs on rooftops, drives fast cars on the seashore, jumps in a pool and messes around with French model Camille Rowe. All this — set to the tune of “Whole Lotta Love” by Led Zeppelin — for no other reason than to sell a men’s fragrance.
Hey guys, you too could be just like Rob.
“Robert Pattinson is one of those rare actors who plays with elegance and a certain casualness, an obvious modernity,” the brand said. “He starts with identifying anew artistic achievements, simultaneously as the Dior man enters a new era. The meeting was inevitable. Filmed by Romain Gavras, he embodies a certain idea of masculinity against the current flow of ideas, such as his legendary seniors, Marlon Brando, James Dean, Paul Newman and Monty Clift.”
Dior was also sure to share its official ad hashtag “#DIORROB” at the end of the video for those who feel the need to share the campaign via social media.
