Pauly D and baby mama squabble over visitation
Pauly D has requested visitation with his recently revealed 5-month-old daughter, whom he had after a one-night stand, but he seems to be getting little official response from the child’s mother.
The “Jersey Shore” star’s attorney had requested a two-week visitation with his baby girl beginning Wednesday, but the baby mama’s attorney denied Pauly’s ability see their child unsupervised, according to TMZ.

The child, Amabella Sophia, is currently living in New Jersey with her mother, Amanda Markert, 25, with whom the hip-nicknamed Paul Delvecchio had a tryst in August 2012 while he was deejaying in Las Vegas.
News of the love child broke last week, and the parents reportedly filed dueling court documents to gain custody of Amabella, with Pauly noting that he didn’t think Markert was fit to parent the child.
Last Friday, Radar Online reported that Markert was living a ruse, telling her live-in boyfriend Don Barbitta that Amabella was actually his child rather than Pauly’s. Barbitta moved out and was reportedly “humiliated” by the situation.

Pauly tweeted Radar’s article, simply saying: “smh,” online shorthand for “shaking my head.”
The blowout-inclined 33-year-old has agreed to supervised visitation, but his attorney has yet to hear back from Markert or her legal rep, TMZ said.
“Paul and his entire family are eager to meet and spend time with Paul’s daughter,” his attorney told the site. “Paul has been requesting visitation for quite some time now, but his requests have either gone unresponded to or denied. He and his family are committed to being a significant part of his daughter’s life and are excited to make that a reality. “
The reality star has already expressed his excitement about being a father and willingness to take on the financial responsibility of having a child.
“I’m proud I’m a father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life,” he said when the baby news broke.
“Sometimes in life things aren’t planned and they may even scare you at first, but they end up being a blessing,” he later wrote on Twitter on Oct. 21.
However, Markert isn’t happy about the arrangement proposed by Pauly’s lawyer, which apparently involves him picking up the child from New Jersey and taking her back with him to Las Vegas, she told Rumor Fix.
“Pauly wanted to pick up my daughter and keep her for two weeks, not even giving me specific locations or anything,” she said. “They didn’t even bother to ask if I’m breast feeding, what her diet is, or anything like that! All the request said is that Pauly wants to pick up Amabella tomorrow and he’ll return her November 13.”
The mother of two called her baby dad out Wednesday on Twitter in a series of tweets airing her grievances with him.
“This is getting out of hand, you’ve had my number since day 1. Come bond with her any day, any time you and your family want. @DJPaulyD,” she wrote.
“Since we last spoke I don’t have any way to get in touch with you directly and I think that is what is best. @DJPaulyD,” she continued, adding, “It could all be so simple.... Call now... @DJPaulyD.”
Talk about a serious grenade situation.
