Naya Rivera marries actor Ryan Dorsey in surprise wedding

Naya Rivera has gotten married -- to actor Ryan Dorsey, not former flame Big Sean.

The two men’s names fall into the same sentence because the “Glee” star was engaged to the rapper (real name Sean Anderson) as recently as April.

Rivera and Dorsey “feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife,” the couple told People magazine in an exclusive statement. They said their “special day was fated.”

The newlyweds reportedly said “I do” in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Saturday, the same day Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo were tying the knot nearby in San Jose del Cabo.

Rivera’s rep confirmed the marriage to the Los Angeles Times.

Dorsey and Rivera met about four years ago and, according to an Us Weekly source, their friendship “turned into love!” Up until now, the two haven’t made headlines.

By Tuesday, the actress had changed her name to “Naya Rivera Dorsey” on Twitter. She’d posted pictures on Saturday of herself riding on a beach -- looking like she was having a ton of fun -- with one of the shots presumably showing Dorsey.

Big Sean said in April that the breakup with Rivera after six months of engagement had been his idea. They’d courted publicly on Twitter

“Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately,” his rep told Us Weekly at the time, adding that “recent rumors” were untrue. The rumors? That Rivera had cheated on the rapper and then confessed to it.
