‘Gotham’ costars Morena Baccarin, Ben McKenzie are having a baby together -- in real life

It’s a match made in “Gotham” — not only are Ben McKenzie and costar Morena Baccarin dating, they’re also expecting a child together, according to several reports.

E! News confirmed this week that the two were indeed dating and are said to have fallen in love during their show’s first season. Baccarin plays McKenzie’s latest love interest in the campy Batman pre-quel.

Reps for the Fox stars did not immediately respond to requests for comment after several reports confirming the romance and baby news.

The “Homeland” and “V,” 36, alum concealed her belly in a flowing Reem Acra gown when she attended Fox’s Primetime Emmy Awards after-party on Sunday. There, the pair walked the red carpet and were photographed together.

The child will be the first for the former “O.C.” actor, 37, and the second for the Brazilian beauty, 36. Baccarin is already mom to son Julius Setta Chick, 1, whom she had with director-writer Austin Chick.

Chick filed for divorce from the actress in July after three years of marriage and cited irreconcilable differences. He’s seeking joint custody of Julius, spousal support and legal fees from Baccarin, according to People.

TMZ, which said that Baccarin was toward the end of her first trimester, was first to reveal the pregnancy on Thursday, reporting that Baccarin was set to appear in court to seek joint custody of Julius and ask Chick to move from L.A. to New York, where she films “Gotham.”
