Mila Kunis debuts ‘Jupiter Ascending,’ is coy about her marital status
Momma’s night out! Mila Kunis stepped out on Monday to debut her latest film, “Jupiter Ascending.”
The actress, who welcomed daughter Wyatt Isaebelle with fiance Ashton Kutcher back in October, donned a black Dolce & Gabbana corset gown and joined costars Channing Tatum, Sean Bean and Eddie Redmayne at the premiere of the Warner Bros. film at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Kutcher, who put their baby girl down for the night, also made an brief appearance on the black carpet, as did “Hart of Dixie’s” Scott Porter and his newly pregnant wife, Kelsey Mayfield.
Tatum attended the premiere with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and the perennially lovey-dovey pair brought out the PDA for the cameras. Newlywed Redmayne, who married Hannah Bagshawe in December, flew solo.
In the film, Kunis plays Jupiter Jones, an earthling poised to become a royal heir on a faraway planet. At home, Kunis has taken on the stay-at-home mom role between work gigs.
The 31-year-old told E! News’ Marc Malkin that being back on a red carpet is “just different.”
“Let me tell you, having a baby and breastfeeding, nothing fits in these dresses anymore,” she quipped.
What else might be different with the “That ‘70s Show” alums? They may -- or may not -- be married already.
Kunis has been romantically linked to the “Two and a Half Men” star since 2012, and the couple has been engaged since at least February 2014.
In December, the tech entrepreneur shared a beach photo signed “The Kutchers” on his Facebook page, leading people to speculate that they’d already tied the knot. On Monday at the premiere, Kunis sported a thin diamond band on her left-hand ring finger.
Daytime host Ellen DeGeneres, who has Kunis as a guest star on her show on Tuesday, tried to get to the bottom of the story, asking Kunis about the photo and whether she and Kutcher had indeed already wed.
“Now, there’s something he posted,” DeGeneres said. “It’s my duty, I’m your friend, but it’s my duty as a talk show host to ask you the question if you’re married because he posted this, so it means something, I would think ... It says ‘The Kutchers’ so it sounds like you’re married ... I’m gonna say yes.”
“I don’t know, I don’t know,” 31-year-old Kunis said, avoiding the question. “We could just be a plural. Like, my daughter has his last name legally. So thus, there’s multiple Kutchers. He has a brother.”
“Jupiter Ascending” hits theaters on Friday.
