Lisa Marie Presley files for divorce from husband of 10 years
Lisa Marie Presley’s 10-year marriage to Michael Lockwood is coming to an end. The performer filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, according to the Associated Press.
In the filing Presley, 48, cited irreconcilable differences as grounds for the divorce and requested full custody of the couple’s twin girls, Harper and Finley.
Presley is the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. The split from Lockwood is the singer-actress’ fourth divorce.
In 1988, Presley married musician Danny Keough, with whom she had a son, Benjamin, and a daughter, Riley. The couple divorced in 1994. Presley married Michael Jackson later that year, divorcing in 1996, and married Nicolas Cage in 2002, divorcing in 2004.
Lockwood, a guitarist and producer, served as main guitarist on Presley’s 2012 “Storm & Grace” tour and has worked with Carly Simon, Jon Brion and Aimee Mann.
Lockwood and Presley married in 2006.
Representatives for Lisa Marie Presley did not immediately respond to a request for comment Tuesday afternoon.
