Lenny Kravitz’s #penisgate moment takes the wardrobe-malfunction crown

Thank you, Lenny Kravitz. Finally, finally, we have a worthwhile wardrobe malfunction from a dude.

The energetic “Are You Gonna Go My Way” singer crouched down onstage in Stockholm and split the crotch of his tight leather pants Monday, granting a glimpse of commando-style, full-frontal goodness that made some people wonder why the 51-year-old hadn’t done this before.

This was no demure side-boob slip. Definitely the full monty.

“Dude ... No underwear and pierced...,” fellow rocker Steven Tyler texted him on Tuesday, throwing in some cuss words that made him sound like, well, Steven Tyler. “You never showed me that...”

“#penisgate,” the “Hunger Games” actor tweeted out Tuesday, along with a screen grab of Tyler’s profane text.

Kudos, incidentally, to the person or persons who caught that mishap on camera. For those of us tasked with paying attention to such things, it was a nice change from the usual parade of wayward lady parts, as well as proof that rock ‘n’ roll is still very much alive.

The leathers reportedly have a good chance of surviving the public trauma.

After leaving the stage for a few minutes to change into another pair of skin-tight pants — because really, who doesn’t have a backup pair waiting in the wings at all times — Kravitz addressed the audience, according to a Swedish tabloid report.

“Sorry,” he told the crowd, “I ripped my trousers.”

And for that, sir, again, we thank you.
