‘Gossip Girl’s’ Leighton Meester reportedly engaged to Adam Brody
Hey there, Upper Eastsiders (and Orange County denizens): Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are reportedly engaged!
And even though it’s not yet Hanukkah, in honor of “The OC’s” holiday-mashing Seth Cohen, we’re going to call it an engagemukkah anyway!
The teen drama stars -- she of “Gossip Girl” fame and he of “The OC” -- are getting hitched, and we need to take a moment to digest how the lovable Cohen would react to marrying scheming Queen B, Blair Waldorf?! Our minds are in crossover overdrive!

Brody, 33, reportedly popped the question to Meester, 27, in the fall and the two celebrated the proposal with an engagement party in Los Angeles on Nov. 10, according to Wonderwall, which first reported the news.
Engagement reports were then confirmed by People, Us Weekly and E! News, though the notoriously low-key couple has yet to officially address the latest development in their relationship.
The small-screen stars have been dating for a little less than a year and were first linked in February. They met on the set of their 2011 dramedy, “The Oranges,” and are said to have hung out occasionally during shooting.

They were recently spotted together holding hands in New York and in Los Angeles, E! said. They’ll also be working together again in the upcoming comedy “Life Partners.” How fitting.
Meester was previously linked to Sebastian Stan in 2010, and later, to “Joan of Arcadia” actor Aaron Himelstein. Brody previously dated his “OC” costar Rachel Bilson before calling it quits in 2006 and was most recently linked to “Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist” director Lorene Scafaria.
XOXO!
