Drunk, vomiting Lamar Odom removed from red-eye flight at LAX before takeoff, report says
A drunk and vomiting Lamar Odom was reportedly removed from a Delta Air Lines flight Monday night just as the plane started to pull away from a gate at Los Angeles International Airport.
Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband was seen slamming beer and whiskey in the Delta Skyclub at LAX before his red-eye flight to New York, TMZ reported Tuesday. Earlier on Monday, he'd been spotted near a strip club in West L.A., People said.

Odom boarded the plane and took his seat, but as the aircraft was about to pull away from the gate he suddenly ran to the front and vomited first in the galley and then again in a bathroom with the door open, two first class passengers told TMZ. With vomit on his clothes, he was escorted off the flight, the website said, but returned about 10 minutes later and took his seat again, only to head for the bathroom unsteadily a few minutes later.
He was once again escorted off the plane, this time for good, TMZ said.
“We never received a call about this at all,” Airport Police Officer Rob Pedragon told The Times on Tuesday. He didn’t know whether Odom had been asked to get off the plane by Delta personnel or did it on his own.
A rep for Delta declined to comment further, saying the airline “takes customer privacy very seriously.” Odom’s divorce attorney could not be reached for comment.
Odom has struggled with substance abuse and nearly died in October when he overdosed on cocaine, alcohol and an herbal sexual supplement at a brothel in Nevada. Despite that, he’s since been spotted ordering drinks, and Kardashian is said to have wanted him to go to rehab.
After pulling her 2013 divorce petition during Odom's recovery – both parties had signed, but a judge had yet to sign off when he ODd – the reality star re-filed for the split in late May. On Friday, Odom finally filed his response.
Odom has apparently left a house in Calabasas that Kardashian rented so he could be near her home during his recovery, but his reasons for moving out are up for debate. According to a People source, the former L.A. Laker was “ready to move on as well” and could have renewed the lease and paid for the place himself.
"They are divorcing and now that Lamar is doing better, he doesn't feel the need to live next door to Khloé," the source told the magazine. "He has been staying with friends but is also looking for a new place."
TMZ, however, said Kardashian decided not to renew after friends allegedly saw drug paraphernalia around the house.
Kardashian’s rep didn't respond immediately to a request for comment, but Khloe’s tweets around the time the story was breaking may have included one: she posted, simply, a sad face.
