Kris Jenner addresses Bruce Jenner sex-change and dating rumors
Is Bruce Jenner dating Kris Jenner’s best friend? All that depends on whom you believe. Kris Jenner cleared matters on “Today,” saying she doesn’t care who Bruce dates. The L.A. Times’ Christy Khoshaba has the details.
Kris Jenner appeared Monday on “Today” to promote her new cookbook, but the best parts of the interview were about what’s cooking with Bruce Jenner and her.
Stubborn rumors that her estranged husband is transitioning from male to female are “silly,” she told host Hoda Kotb.
“They’ve been saying that since the ‘70s, so you’d think he’d be, like, cooked by now,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” matriarch said. Think that’ll stop the world from monitoring the status of Bruce’s long hair and nails and his disappearing Adam’s apple? Probably not.
The tabloids and celebrity-gossip outlets “just keep regurgitating the same old stuff,” she said.
Kris Jenner didn’t exactly dismiss last week’s rumors that her future ex-husband was dating a good friend of hers, but she didn’t appear “devastated” or “in shock” about anything, as some had alleged.
Still, Bruce Jenner isn’t even dating yet, a source told E! News on Friday. The Jenners filed for divorce in the middle of September.
“I just want him to be happy,” she said. “I don’t care who he goes out with, and I don’t know who he’s dating. He doesn’t check in with me and give me a play-by-play. But it’s his life, and you just want the guy to be happy.”
Kris said she and Bruce had simply decided to “be grown-ups” in deciding to divorce, as they’re still really good friends but are better apart than together.
They made the best decision for the family and for kids, she said.
