Kim Kardashian, Kanye West land Vogue cover, show off baby North
Another sign of the Kardash-alypse: Kim Kardashian and fiance Kanye West are the cover stars of Vogue magazine’s April issue.
Uh-huh, honey.
The well-endowed reality TV starlet, 33, and the outspoken rapper, 36, have landed the coveted fashion cover of the so-called fashion bible, which features the polished “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star in a strapless wedding gown with West wrapping his arms around her from behind and resting his chin on her shoulder.
“Their Fashionable Life and Surreal Times #WORLDSMOSTTALKEDABOUTCOUPLE,” reads the headline. (Yes, even formidable editrix Anna Wintour is in the hashtag game.)

The photos were shot by recurring Vogue photographer Annie Leibovitz and accompanying video footage includes several shots of the couple’s elusive daughter, North, now 9 months old. West is only the fifth man to make the cover, and the first man in two years, Radar Online reported.
“This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can’t even breath!” Kardashian wrote Friday, sharing the cover on Instagram and directing followers to check out the shoot’s behind-the-scenes video on the magazine’s website.
“#TRILL Thank you @voguemagazine,” West tweeted.
Additional tweets from Kardashian’s family included “Gorgeous!!!! #amazing #stunning” from Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and “#love” from younger sister Khloe Kardashian.

The Vogue video is set to the Grammy-winning rapper’s tune “Bound 2,” which has a music video that when first released appeared to be a parody of itself and spawned numerous others from Hollywood A-listers. In the fashion video, the stylish couple, who got engaged in October and are set to wed in Paris this summer, are dressed in various formal regalia as they walk a desert street. The video also features intimate shots of Kardashian in what appear to be wedding gowns playing with her daughter.
Kimye is still seen making out on various planes, trains and automobiles. OK, maybe not the trains, but we do see them get cozy on West’s Lamborghini Aventador and aboard a private jet.

The question remains: Is this the real video for “Bound 2”?
Appearing on this cover has been a contentious issue for the couple, with West, a fashionisto in his own right, speaking out against the magazine for not featuring his fiance sooner.
“There’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue right now,” West told Ryan Seacrest in October 2013. “She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. She’s got Barbara Walters calling her like every day. And collectively, we’re the most influential with clothing.”
It’s not the first time the pair have appeared on a magazine cover together: In February 2013, they were captured in a steamy embrace on the cover of the provocative French mag L’Officiel Hommes. But the rapper has reportedly been trying for months to persuade Wintour to feature Kardashian on the mag, and rumor had it that the reality star had been eyeing international versions of the mag instead, Radar reported.
Wintour is said to “loathe” the reality TV family and their momager Kris Jenner, but “for some reason, thinks Kanye is terrific,” the website said. However, a source said the rapper has been “persistent” about making Kardashian’s dream to appear in the mag come true and has been nagging Wintour about it for quite some time.
And there was talk that her half-sister, model Kendall Jenner, would be featured in the mag sooner than the famed starlet.
Need we remind West of Carrie Bradshaw’s heartbreaking fate in the first “Sex and the City” movie, when she also landed in Vogue in a wedding gown?
