Kim Kardashian weighs Easton West (or Tito?) as name for baby No. 2

Kim Kardashian’s expression was perhaps a bit pained on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” as she put up with DeGeneres’ jokey list of possible names for the baby boy the reality star is expecting with Kanye West.

Among the suggestions floated in the sit-down, set to air Wednesday: Head. Wild or Wild Wild. Mid. East Meets. And Tito, just because.

“I don’t think we’ll go another direction,” Kardashian said. “It’s definitely not South. Every time someone says South, I just wanna roll my eyes.”

That said, she likes the name Easton.

“North and Easton West,” DeGeneres said, getting a big laugh from the audience, which is exactly what every parent wants to happen when his or her children’s names are mentioned.

“I do like the name Easton ... Easton West. I don’t think my husband likes that name, but I do like it.”

Nevertheless, she said, “I start thinking about eight months, so I have, it’s about a month away,” which kind of made us wonder when, other than when she was pregnant with North, she’d hit that eight-month mark, because it sounded like she had some experience in the area. And then we wondered if she was referring to thinking in general, rather than specifically about a baby name.

And then we remembered that Kanye said at the MTV Video Music Awards that he’s running for president in 2020, because Kim and Ellen also broached that topic.

“I think it would be so much fun to be in the White House,” Kardashian said. “I was joking with him, I was like, ‘You’re going to have to make it to a second term,’ because he loves redecorating, so I was like, ‘You’re going to want to redo the whole White House and we wouldn’t be able to enjoy it,’ so we’re to have to just go with the flow.”

And yes, Mrs. West said, Mr. West was “serious” about running for president, echoing comments he recently gave to Vanity Fair.

“I sit in clubs and I’m like, ‘Wow, I’ve got five years before I go and run for office and I’ve got a lot of research to do, I’ve got a lot of growing up to do,’” West told the magazine.

“My dad has two master’s degrees. My mom has a PhD, she used to work at Operation PUSH,” the rapper continued, referencing the economic-rights organization started by the Rev. Jesse Jackson in the early ‘70s.

“Somehow the more and more creative I get, the closer and closer I get to who I was as a child. When I was a child, I was holding my mom’s hand at Operation PUSH. I think it’s time. Rap is great. It’s fun. It’s fun to be a rock star, and I’ll never not be one I guess, but there’ll be a point where I become my mother’s child.”
