Kim Fields, ‘Facts of Life’ child star, welcomes second baby boy
Kim Fields, best known from her child-actress days as “Tootie” on “The Facts of Life” sitcom in the ‘80s, now has two children of her own: The second little boy was born Tuesday morning in Atlanta.
“Praise the Lord Quincy is here! 8 lbs. 8 oz. 20 inches long we are all doing great thank you for your love prayers and support!,” Fields, 44, said Tuesday on Twitter.
Fields has been married to Broadway actor Christopher Morgan, 37, since July 2007, shortly after giving birth to Quincy Xavier’s big brother, 6½-year-old Sebastian Alexander Morgan.
“We are so blessed and grateful to God,” the couple told People through a rep who confirmed the birth.
The two-time mom picked her new baby’s name well in advance, she told the show “The Real” (via Us Weekly) when she was five months along. She said she wasn’t sure at first what was going on, mistaking some of the signs of pregnancy for symptoms of peri-menopause.
