Koko had to ‘go go’ after James Harden cheated on her, Khloe Kardashian says
Khloe Kardashian gave ex-beau James Harden "literally everything on a platter," she says, when it came to relationship flexibility — but he decided to sample from another buffet. And girlfriend wasn't having that.
Seems she was cool hanging out with the Houston Rockets player without being monogamous, until he said he wanted to be monogamous, and then she said sure, and then he did what he did, instead of what he said he'd do.
"And I got the receipts to prove it," Kardashian said in a clip from the March 2 episode of "Kocktails With Khloe" on FYI.
"I've always said, you know, it's long distance ... we don't need to be monogamous," she explained to guest Lisa Rinna. "There's a lot ... going on in both of our lives. You live in Houston, I live in L.A., let's see each other when we see each other."
"What girl says that and the guy says — why wouldn't you say OK and that's great? ... Instead forcing a relationship, 'Let's be committed.'"
Kardashian, 31, and Harden, 26, started dating last summer — remember the birthday fireworks? — then put their relationship on hold in October after Lamar Odom's overdose and subsequent hospitalization, when Khloe was at her estranged husband's side constantly. They were back on in November, then she dumped him in January.
It wasn't that she didn't ideally want a committed relationship, Kardashian said. She was just being realistic, given her crazy workload, the distance between his home in Houston and hers in L.A., and the fact that she was unexpectedly taking care of Odom. But Harden insisted.
"He wanted to be committed. Then wasn't committed. So Koko had to let him go go."
Ouch.
