Khloe Kardashian celebrates 30th birthday amid shower of big gifts
Khloe Kardashian celebrated her 30th birthday with friends and family in New York City on Thursday night, the day before her actual birthday.
Family-wise, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and mom Kris Jenner made their way to P. Diddy’s Don Coqui restaurant on City Island in the Bronx to get things rolling. Friend-wise, Diddy was there. Hey, it’s his restaurant.
And a little more than friend-wise, Khloe’s rapper beau French Montana also made it to the affair. The pair were photographed getting cozy alongside Khloe’s three-tiered cake. Kim was the woman behind the sweet pic, and captioned the photo, “Let the birthday celebrations begin.”
The festivities kicked off nicely: Montana surprised his “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” ladyfriend with three gifts, E! News reported.
First up were two customized grills: one with diamonds, the other without, which TMZ estimated to be worth $10,000. (Hard to beat.) The birthday girl put them on for a spin and took a selfie with Kendall. “look at this hot birthday babe and her GRILLZZZ!!!” Kendall captioned the pic.
Next up from Montana was an 18-karat Colombian emerald ring with yellow canary diamonds, estimated to be worth $25,000. The 29-year-old purchased the gift from Rafaello & Co., and brand honcho Gabriel Jacobs told E! News that Montana had “mentioned how much Khloé loves flexible finger rings.” (Getting harder to beat.)
Finally, Montana bestowed upon his lady a 4x4 white Jeep Wrangler Sahara, estimated price tag $50,000. (Just impossible to beat!) Khloe has been rumored to be dating the rapper since mid-April. She’s been photographed with him multiple times since then.
With gifts like that, it looks like someone’s doing something right.
Though Khloe filed for divorce from estranged husband Lamar Odom in December, their split is still not finalized. But things are looking up for her. “I couldn’t help but wish for a couple of forevers,” Khloe wrote with a picture showing her as she blew out her birthday candles.
