Kendall Jenner is Karl Lagerfeld’s supermodel bride at Chanel couture show
Kendall Jenner, a blushing bride in a Chanel pantsuit, closed Karl Lagerfeld’s casino-themed couture show at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.
The reality star-turned-supermodel walked the runway solo, styled in a wedding veil and blunt bob, a cut worn by all the models in the 67-piece collection.
It was the seventh time the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum appeared in a Chanel show, and this strut took place at the “Cercle Privé” in the Paris’ Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées, which was reworked to look like a Monte Carlo gambling den. In the past, Lagerfeld’s elaborate shows have taken on garden, icy and even supermarket themes.
The 19-year-old took to Instagram to share a snapshot of herself alongside the 81-year-old style icon, which was taken at the end of the show.
“of course I said yes,” she wrote, referring to the wedding motif — and perhaps the honor of closing the show solo.
Kardashian momager Kris Jenner, always quick to tout her kids’ achievements, proudly boasted on Instagram, posting a video of Lagerfeld and Jenner’s double-cheek smooch during the closer.
“Wow @kendalljenner you were amazing today! What a thrill to close the show with your SOLO walk on the runway and an ICONIC ending with the Master @karllagerfeld for @chanelofficial ! I couldn’t be prouder,” she wrote, namedropping about the celebs in attendance and adding “#proudmama.”
Jenner’s half-sister Khloe Kardashian also gave her kudos, posting a pic of the model in her veil-showcasing pose: “Kendall x Karl x Chanel Show,” she wrote.
“Still Alice” costars Kristen Stewart and Julianne Moore popped up at the Grand Palais and played poker at one of the massive tables set up for the event.
Also in attendance were Johnny Depp’s son, John Christopher Depp III, and his mother and Depp’s ex, Vanessa Paradis, actress-singer Rita Ora and Lara Stone.
