Kelly Clarkson is pregnant again -- and ‘hormonal’ enough to announce it unexpectedly onstage

Kelly Clarkson just couldn’t control herself on stage in L.A. Wednesday night: She spontaneously dropped the news that she’s having another baby.

“I was not planning on announcing this,” she said onstage at Staples Center, “but ... I’m totally pregnant!”

The 33-year-old mother was getting emotional while singing “Piece by Piece” — a tune inspired by her relationships with her father, her husband, Brandon Blackstock, and her daughter — and didn’t want people to think she was “on pills,” TMZ reported. Apparently, not everybody in the family knew yet.

“I would like to apologize to my husband,” she continued, according to E! News “This was not planned. I’m just so hormonal. Everything is great; I haven’t vomited yet. That’s a win, y’all.”

We presume it was the blurt to thousands of fans that wasn’t planned, not Baby No. 2 with Blackstock. Though ... you never know.

The couple welcomed their first child, River Rose, on June 12, 2014. That time through, there was a lot of vomiting. Clarkson even heaved right before appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and shared some details with the icked-out host.

“I vomit a good dozen times a day. Like, it’s like bad. Like, I vomited before coming out here, and I had a peppermint so you didn’t ... It’s like so gross,” Clarkson said before going into a spiel about missing out on a supposed perk of pregnancy.

“You’re not attractive when you’re pregnant,” she told DeGeneres. “Everyone tells you, ‘Oh, you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty.’ And that’s total crap. ... I have no glow.”

Hey, Kelly, you’re in good company.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, had it pretty rough her first time around too, and her excessive morning sickness reared its head again while she was carrying Princess Charlotte. Her situation prompted an earlier-than expected “We’re expecting” announcement, but by the seventh month or so, the former Kate Middleton was telling people she would sometimes forget she was carrying another little royal.
