Katy Perry dons an Obama manicure for fundraiser [Poll]
Katy Perry had her hands full of President Obama at a Los Angeles fundraiser Sunday night.
“Today I am so honored to play for the President!,” the singer tweeted Sunday, adding, “appropriate nails,” with a picture of her Obama-themed manicure, shown above.
Somehow, we don’t think Kid Rock is rushing out to put tiny Paul Ryans on his acrylics before introducing the GOP vice presidential candidate at a rally in Detroit on Monday. (Though, really, would you blame him if he did? Those eyes!)
“I sang for President @BarackObama last night because I believe in Equal Rights #ForAll #Vote,” Perry tweeted Monday.
Alas, the prez didn’t catch the performance, which also featured Earth, Wind and Fire, according to Politics Now.
“My understanding is it was an incredible show,” said Obama, whom the blog said was whisked downtown right before he took the stage.
“They just perform flawlessly night after night. I can’t always say the same,” he added, referring to his recent debate performance.
