Drugs, assaults and now a scuffle with a 7th-grader -- Katt Williams faces more legal heat
Not only can’t Katt Williams keep himself out of legal trouble, he’s now fighting with 7th-graders.
In a video that has gone viral, the “Scary Movie 5” actor, who is currently out on bail, was taken down by a 7th-grader after Williams reportedly threw a punch while handing out cash in Atlanta, TMZ said.

It’s unclear how the scuffle escalated, but the child didn’t take the altercation lightly, ultimately putting the 42-year-old in a choke hold that brought Williams down on the grass with people surrounding and pleading with the grade-schooler to get off of the comic.
TMZ reported that police launched a criminal investigation and are reviewing Williams’ bail order to see if he violated it and whether it should be revoked.
Williams has been in and out of jail over the last several years for a number of infractions. Most recently, however, his brushes with the law have involved drugs, firearms and assaults. Here’s just the last month:
Feb. 28
Five women come forward alleging that Williams and his entourage held them at gunpoint. The women said he punched one of them after realizing that one of the women was recording a video, instead of taking the picture the group asked for. When officers arrived, Williams said one of the women attempted to take a chain from his neck, causing him to punch her in self-defense. He admitted to taking out a gun, but only after hearing one of the women mention a gun. Police made no arrests, but did launch an investigation.
Feb. 29
Williams was arrested after throwing an object at and punching a pool supply store clerk in Gainesville, Ga. He later said his actions were the result of being called the N-word, “on the last day of Black History Month.” He was released on $5,000 bail.

After attempting to help victims of a car accident outside his Los Angeles hotel, Williams says he was confronted by a group of “rappers” who teased him about his height. (He stands at 5 foot 5.) He then alleges that one of the men hit him, prompting him to strike back in self-defense. He became a suspect in the misdemeanor battery.
March 6
While in Philadelphia at a rap concert featuring Beanie Sigel, Jahlil Beats and Jadakiss, Williams allegedly rushed someone onstage and punched them. The victim’s group of friends responded by jumping Williams. No one was arrested.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia served a search warrant on Williams’ home after one of the comedian’s bodyguards claimed he was beat with a baseball bat and choked after refusing to “engage in criminal activity.” The assault, he said, was done by Williams’ entourage while Williams himself threatened to kill the bodyguard.
When officers raided Williams’ home, they found several firearms and “large quantities” of marijuana. Williams was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault, terroristic threats and false imprisonment as well as drug and weapons charges. He was released from jail on $60,000 bond the next day with orders to stay away from drugs, alcohol and guns.
March 17
An actress, Jamila Majesty, filed a lawsuit against Williams claiming that he and a group of women assaulted her for three hours two years ago at his Malibu home. She also alleges that Williams burned her face with a cigarette. The case alleges assault and battery, false imprisonment and emotional distress.
March 23
A video goes viral showing Williams in a tussle with a middle-schooler. Because Williams threw the first punch, police have launched an investigation into his actions.
