Justin Bieber cements return to SoCal with paparazzo-related crash
Justin Bieber was reportedly involved in a fender-bender Tuesday afternoon, but this time he caught a break: The pop singer wasn’t behind the wheel and nobody was injured.
The Biebs’ driver was trying to elude a paparazzo on Canon Drive in Beverly Hills around 2 p.m. when a BMW pulled out of a parking garage near Bouchon restaurant and connected with the side of the SUV, according to TMZ.
Bieber pulled a quick swap, the website said, and was hustled off in another car.
Police confirmed a crash involving one of the “Boyfriend” singer’s “entourage vehicles” to the New York Daily News.
Bieber appears to have rented in Beverly Hills earlier this month -- he’d taken a break from SoCal, selling his gated-community mansion in Calabasas to Khloe Kardashian after heading to a rental home in Atlanta back in February.
Things in Calabasas had been on edge for a while, culminating in an accusation of felony vandalism related to an egging that did $20,000 worth of damage to a next-door neighbor’s home. That incident is still being investigated.
The 20-year-old is said to have rented two condos in a Beverly Hills building that Curbed L.A. speculates contains only 34 units, and neighbors told TMZ there had already been complaints to the homeowners association about late-night noise and marijuana smoke stinking up the hallways -- not to mention a couple of calls to the police.
Why two units? Hey, a guy’s entourage has to hang out somewhere.
