Wondering where the grown-ups are in Justin Bieber’s life? Well, his dad was with him Thursday, but in the wake of the singer’s arrest on suspicion of DUI, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license in Miami, manager Scooter Braun has briefly commented.

“Been a long day,” Braun said on Twitter late Thursday. “Bottom line is we are defined by how we handle adversity. Be there when it counts. Love fully in good times and bad.”

Previously, he’d addressed a tweet directly to 19-year-old Bieber: “@justinbieber love you and i will act in the manner of someone who truly cares. that is all I have to say. thanks for all those concerned.”

Braun, 38, discovered Bieber on YouTube and has been with him since the beginning.

Bieber, meanwhile, took to social media as well, posting a side-by-side shot on Instagram of him on one side, sitting atop a black SUV on Thursday waving to fans after being released from jail, and Michael Jackson on the other side, standing on a vehicle and waving to his fans after pleading not guilty to charges in his 2004 child-abuse trial.

He captioned the shot, “What more can they say,” followed by a crown.

Bieber also reportedly refused to get on a private jet bound for his L.A.-area home -- and a possible rehab push from his team -- according to the Daily Mail.

“The private plane was on standby all day,” a source told MailOnline. “It was really disappointing that he never got on it..”

Bieber chose to stay where the party has been, in Miami.
