Jon Hamm to undergo surgery to remove vocal-cord polyp
If you thought the biggest news about Jon Hamm was that full beard he was sporting at the Emmys, you were wrong.
Turns out the “Mad Men” actor is about to have surgery to remove a polyp from his vocal cords, Gossip Cop confirms.
The Cop also debunked a rather wild rumor from one source saying that Hamm had discovered the problem when he was “coughing up blood.” That rumor is actually repeated in the video that appears above this post, so don’t believe everything you hear.
GC’s insider says it’s only one polyp, it’s a routine outpatient procedure, and it’s definitely not cancerous. Which is all good news, yes?
About the beard, incidentally: Dude just loves not shaving.
