Elle Macpherson marries in private Fiji ceremony

Supermodel Elle Macpherson and hotelier Jeffrey Soffer are married!

The couple tied the knot during an “intimate” wedding in Fiji in July, according to reports.

“Jeff and Elle eloped a month ago,” a source told People. “They wanted to keep it a secret.”

Soffer is said to be “low-key” and “likes to do things in private.” Their tropical nuptials diverged from their original plan to get hitched in Aspen this fall, the mag said.

“They are very happy and head over heels in love,” the source added.

The Aussie supermodel, 49, and the Miami-based real estate developer exchanged vows during a “day wedding” that is said to have taken place at a villa in front of about 15 guests, a hotel rep told Australia’s Who magazine, adding that the ceremony took place in mid-July.

Macpherson’s two sons with former boyfriend Arpad Busson -- Arpad Flynn, 15, and Aurelius Cy, 10 -- were in attendance. Macpherson, her boys and her now-husband are said to have vacationed in Fiji the week before.

News of the couple’s engagement surfaced last March.

The former “Fashion Star” host and Soffer dated for about two years before breaking up in March 2012. They reportedly rekindled their romance when Soffer injured his back in November 2012 after a helicopter crash in the Bahamas that killed one of his friends.

Macpherson was previously married to fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon for about three years before divorcing in 1989. This is also Soffer’s second marriage.
