Prince George and Princess Charlotte get a royal photo shoot courtesy of mom Kate Middleton
Nothing like some royally cute baby pictures to break the Internet on a slow news day.
On Saturday, Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released four photos of newborn Princess Charlotte with her older brother, 22-month-old Prince George. Charlotte was born in London on May 2 and is seen in the pictures cradled in her older brother’s lap and, in one, getting a kiss on the forehead.
No need for an official royal photographer, either -- all four were taken by their mother, Princess Kate Middleton. The photos were first released on the official British Monarchy Facebook feed and quickly went viral on social media.
The photos come on the heels of the royal family’s announcement that Charlotte will be christened July 5 at St. Mary Magdalene Church, the same church where Charlotte’s late grandmother, Princess Diana, was baptized.
