What is this, 1999? Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair threw way back on Thursday by staging a "Cruel Intentions" reunion.

The actresses, who costarred in the sordid cult classic, got together to take in the campy "Unauthorized Musical Parody of Cruel Intentions" at the Rockwell Table and Stage in L.A.'s Los Feliz neighborhood and kept followers privy to their epic girls' night out.

The night kicked off with Witherspoon posting a selfie with her former costars, then evolved into the three re-creating the film's then-infamous girl-on-girl kiss scene between Blair's Cecile and Gellar's Kathryn.

"The only kiss that matters @SarahMGellar," Blair wrote, with Gellar adding, ".@SelmaBlair Good thing we've had all that practice!! #CruelIntentions"

The contemporary film adaptation of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos' 1782 novel "Les Liaisons dangereuses" was all about sociopathic socialite Kathryn betting her stepbrother Sebastian (Ryan Phillippe) to seduce fresh-faced virgin Annette (Witherspoon). She just happened to teach Cecile how to French kiss along the way ... and do a several other cruel things as the diabolical "Marcia [expletive] Brady of the Upper East Side."

The girls also smooched as they walked the red carpet where they posed with the cast and thanked them for "an amazing show."

Gellar, who is married to actor Freddie Prinze Jr., must have been feeling extra-nostalgic this week because on Saturday she reunited with her "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" costar Alyson Hannigan when they celebrated the birthday of Hannigan's daughter.
